Panacur 18.75% Oral Paste for Rabbits, 5g

Panacur 18.75% Oral Paste for Rabbits is a broad spectrum benzimidazole anthelmintic which is an effective treatment used to eliminate many gastrointestinal worms in rabbits. This includes roundworm, tapeworm, pinworm and lungworm. 

The ready-to-use oral paste comes in a pre-filled syringe for easy dosing.

Panacur is also effective against Encephalitozoon Cuniculi (EC), which is a tiny parasite that primarily affects rabbits, causing damage to the nervous system, kidneys, and other vital organs. Symptoms can include head tilt, paralysis, and seizures. This disease is common in pet rabbits and can be transmitted through urine, affecting both domestic and wild rabbits. In severe cases, EC can lead to neurological issues and organ failure, and may be fatal. Veterinary treatment is required if EC is suspected, along with suitable treatment and infection control for any other rabbits in the household.

Panacur 18.75% Oral Paste for Rabbits is in the Small Animal Exemption Scheme (SAES) classification of veterinary medicines, therefore no prescription is required.

Pack size: 5g syring

Instructions for use: Read instructions contained within the pack and follow dosage guide for the weight of your pet. Always use as directed. It should be administered orally by squeezing the syringe to release the paste into the side of your rabbit's mouth.

General dosage guide: 1 syringe graduation should be given daily for every 2.5kg of bodyweight, for 9 consecutive days when treating for worms. A longer-term dosage is required for the treatment of Encephalitozoon cuniculi, and this should be carried out as indicated by your vet.
